Smart Connect only uses 2.4Ghz???
Does Smart connect just refuse to use 5Ghz or what? I have it enabled thinking it would be a nice feature so I don't have to choose which SSID like I used to...My network map shows nothing in house e...
Smart Connect provides one SSID to connect to, it will then switch devices to either 2.4 or 5GHz based on the bandwidth needs of the individual device. If you try loading a 4K video on one device you should see this switch to 5GHz in the Device Manager table view.
