I have the XR500 with latest firmware with the Arris NVG599 on latest firmware. My internet both wired and wireless are laggy. Here is my setup:

Background

-Internet: AT&T Gigabit 1000mbps speed

NOTE: Speed test from ISP Modem checks out at about 90% of advertised speed but wires machines show 250-750 download randomly and 850 Upload

-I have two Netgear S8000 Switches optimized for gaming port configured as such:

-First Switch next to modem:

1 uplink port runs to second upstairs S8000 Switch also configured for gaming. 4 Wired devices (3 computer, 1 PS4)
1 port runs to basement basic netgear gig switch with all 8 ports configured for gaming devices, nintendo, PS3, wired computers
Other 6 ports run to DirecTV box, Camera Hub, Apple TV, TV itself, Extra PS4 connection for TV room, last port runs to Modem uplink.

-Cat6 Shielded Cables everywhere and GOOD Cat6, not the cheap stuff

Most times wifi and wired will hang for several seconds or even not until a reload before it loads a site. This happens with computers, Nintendo Switches, Mobile Phones (all iOS), iPads. I have NO Android devices present.

What am I doing wrong here? I have rebooted the XR500, the Modem etc several times and sometimes it helps but overall, there's a regular bit of slow response. I have 3 kids who game, I also game on my PS4 Pro but mostly Red Dead and it's during the day. Slowness happens day and night. I thought I had this optimized for my environment.

Any help/insight is appreciated in advance!
