Strict NAT XBOX ONE with AT&T bgw210-700 modem
Read 1000 post no resolution. Is there a way to open NAT without using DMZ? I've used Microsoft and AT&T tech support no resolution? Is there a setting with the att modem preventing UPnP from working?...

What is the reason for not wanting to use the DMZ? My initial suggest would be to put the XR WAN IP address in the Modem's DMZ and reserve an IP for it. This wouldn't present any kind of security issues, the XR still has it's own firewall.

Thank you for the feedback. There is a tab in the Att modem referred to as gaming I looked inn to again yesterday. Under that tab I could select the games I play and Xbox live which opened the appropriate ports. Very simple, unsure why Att didn't guide me to this solution. My NAT is now OPEN after years of double then strict NAT!

Oh, brilliant! Glad to hear that's working then, let me know if you need anything else!

If you were willing to spend $20-40 I would recommend doing the dumb switch bypass, it completely removes the gateway from the equation and isn't difficult to do.
