system logs

just noticed on my logs it says DOS ATTACK :RST SCAN from source 88.99.103.29 port 8000

and DOS ATTACK: SYN/ACK scan from source 95.217.39.23 port 110 

are these normal or has some one tried a dos attack or is it the router just doing what its supposed to be doing sorry new to all this
