Unable to get AC1900 R7000 router to connect to Comcast Internet
unable to get AC1900 R7000 router to join the Comcast Cable. the signal from comcast is good and for now I am using an old router to stay connected but it is a stop gap measure. I need the AC1900 router for number of devices/speed/range

By the way Comcast support just hangs up and I can't get to any human and have stopped wasting time on their phone trees. I was hoping to get to a technical team who would know the compatibility issues and any MAC address configuration issues.
What modem are you using from comcast?
You put the R7000 for your router in the title and description but the R6900 in the signature. You're for sure on the R7000?
And the firmware on it?
Describe where the process is going wrong/erroring out? we aren't there to see it and so we need you to describe it in detail to help.
