upnp error
Hello, I am using netgear xr500. After connecting my Xbox series x console to the router, when I enter the game on Xbox, it shows upnp error, nat type is good, how can I solve this problem, thanks
If it really doesn't have that option there will likely alternative methods we can use once we can see the interface
What options do you have in the firewall/forwarding pages there? Can you send screenshots of those?
OK, are there any settings pertaining to modem mode or bridge mode that you can find?
I couldn't find anything about bridging mode, could it have another name?

Well that's a shame no Bridge mode.
I would ask the ISP if they have methods to bridge this modem, or if they have a non router modem unit, something modem only with out a built in router. This current model modem will be problematic if you intend to use the XR router.
- My current keenetic omni is a modem/router. In order to use the netgear xr500 device, do I need to use only a modem? I want to ask one more thing, what do you mean by bridging mode? can it have another name?
It would best best to have a modem or a modem/router that can run in a modem/bridge mode or have DMZ functionality. This prevents NAT issues.
Simply put, bridge/modem mode essentially just tells the router to run as a modem. This means the routing side of things is disabled.
