Use 10Gb port for LAN Nighthawk
Is it possible to use the 10Gb LAN SFP port as LAN w/o internet?
Check the usual manual for official uses for that port.
Are you wanting to use the router as a LAN switch or just have that specific port without internet and just for LAN?
- Just that specific port for LAN
- No I don't think that would be possible. A workaround could be blocking whatever the device connected to that port is via the Device Manager.
Let me explain more clearly, I want to use the 1Gb port for internet, while using all other LAN ports for other devices. For one of the devices I want to use the 10Gb SFP port as a regular LAN port which would provide internet access as usual to that device. Is it possible to do that?
