I am interested in testing - i received my XR500 a couple of days ago.
My VPN provider is Torguard.

I bought the XR500 as it stated that it had support for for IPVanish client. I even checked it up with Netgear presales and read the manual before purchase. That was half a year ago but it sounds as when I bought the R7000. Then Netgear also told me a VPN client was close to be included in the firmware - allthough it never showed!
I guess I can just hope that the new firmware turns up before we have a new standard for WiFi and the router hardware is outdated!- They removed that VPN provider from their client, I'm unsure why. It is coming, just waiting on Netgears test team to approve it.
Any update on this... It's a joke that we have all been waiting for so long with no change. This is something that was advertised and misleading. Might raise a claim with ACCC for false and misleading claims.
