I'm eager as hell to test the VPN beta solution!!!
I bought the XR500 as it stated that it had support for for IPVanish client. I even checked it up with Netgear presales and read the manual before purchase. That was half a year ago but it sounds as when I bought the R7000. Then Netgear also told me a VPN client was close to be included in the firmware - allthough it never showed!
I guess I can just hope that the new firmware turns up before we have a new standard for WiFi and the router hardware is outdated!
They removed that VPN provider from their client, I'm unsure why. It is coming, just waiting on Netgears test team to approve it.
