Why Do People Buy CAT7

Slightly aside, here, but I have noticed on my local store that a lot of people buy CAT7 cables with the XR500, and I am slightly lost. I mean I am using Cat5e and getting better than 900Mbps. I have some CAT6 which way exceed any equipment I have. I even have a CAT6a cable. But why on earth would anyone need CAT7?? It just puzzles me. Is there a reason or are people just buying the wrong thing?

    CAT7 is 10G with 600mhz frequency. Its becoming a new standard for future proofing your LAN. With an explosion of IoT 1G LAN is soon going to get congested, so better go for 10G!
