Wireless dropouts OnePlus 6

Just picked up the XR500 today and got it all setup and updated to the latest firmware. Everything seems fine, but my Oneplus 6 keeps dropping wireless. I did a constant ping and after about 20 replies it does 3 timeouts and then 20 replies 3 timeouts. It is basically unusuable as it drops every 20 seconds. It seems to be the only device that I am having this issue on.

    It may not be performing well with beamforming or mumimo. Disable those in Settings > Advanced Settings > Advanced Wireless and see if that helps.

    Are you running the latest OnePlus 6 firmware? It's 5.1.9.

    I've had the OnePlus 6 since launch and never had an issue with the XR500. Also are you running the latest XR500 firmware?
