Xbox one stopped connecting to netgear nighthawk XR1000
My son's Xbox One has stopped connecting to my wireless router - Netgear Nighthawk XR1000. It was connected for a few days after I set it up, then it just stopped. Not sure if it was because I blocke...

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I ended up getting through to Netgear support and yes, I had already tried most of the suggested solutions. We ended up having to do a factory reset. I will never be using the app to block a device again!! So far it all seems to be running ok and the xbox is connected once again.

What does it say on the console when you attempt a connection? If the Access Control hasn't properly disabled and there is no way to disable it again then you can try re-enabling the block and disabling the block, otherwise it's likely you'll need to do a factory reset. Then if you want to block it again do it on the Device Manager or use Traffic Controller instead.

Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
