Xr1000 DumaOS 3.0 how do you know what server you connected to Destiny 2
So, I decided to try Geo-filtering on Destiny 2 again. I understand you can’t filter players. However, you should be able to filter servers. I put the radius around my servers that are closest to me. ...

You don't appear on the map so it will be the host/server just misclassified.
I'm fairly confident they did some updates that prevented the Geo-Filter working so I don't think it will always work. However, disable strict mode as that will help filtering - you may get games outside your radius but that's the best you can do I think.
Auto ping automatically pings the host/server to provide you with ping information, it just prevents you having to click the server manually to ping.
Also if you change options while you're already on the game it won't work very well at all, disable strict mode then start up the game and see if it is any better.

Okay will try that. Question… so I know Bungie went to a hybrid system where you have to connect to their servers now. But, how do you actually know if the filtering is working. So, what I tend to do is start the geo filter. Circle around the servers I want, and then start Destiny 2. I can see a bunch of different stuff pop up on the map. A server always pops up all the way near New York and then disappears. I’m currently in Tx, and there’s always a huge icon right there. I figured that was me and I would be hosting the matches since Destiny is P2P. How do I know if you geo filter is actually working?
