XR1000 firmware update stuck
Trying to update to latest firmware on new XR1000 so far I’ve waited for 45 minutes. Don’t want to interrupt the update but what my options?
Good advice above, in addition, when you refresh to see if you still have access does it show the same firmware you were on? I would guess that you may have done it via WiFi in which case it would have disconnected you and you'd need to reconnect to see it has completed
- Using hardwire connection to router from laptop on Firefox. Finally shut router off and rebooted it. Can logon to router and see Firmware did not update.
- Did you do the update by uploading the file manually or allowing the router to check for firmware and let it download and install?
I would try MS edge with a wired PC and see if the file file will upload and take.
Might factory reset the router and walk thru the set up and complete it. Then go in and try the FW update.
