XR1000 GeoFilter RPC Error
I just bought the XR1000 router to hardwire my Xbox Series X to. After installation and setup, I downloaded the newest 1.0.0.64_1.0.49 firmware and factory reset. All of the apps work except for ...

Hi guys,
Just wanted to follow up on this. I apologize for the delay in response. I was out of town for the last week and not able to try this.
Last night I tried to play an online game with my Xbox Series X and I couldn't connect to online MP. I checked the multiplayer connection and was told I couldn't get a teredo IP address. I did some digging and someone mentioned activating the IPv6 setting on the router fixed their issue. So I activated mine using the Auto Connect setting. Once that was activated and I restarted the router, the error disappeared for the Geo-Filter.
So I never did the manual upload of the new firmware but this did seem to solve for the error. Not sure if that makes sense or something just reset itself in the time I was gone but things seem to be working now.
Thank you guys for all your help and troubleshooting!

What browser are you using? Try MS Edge or FireFox.
Be sure to clear out ALL browser caches before entering the routers web page.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended

My modem is a Motorola Surfboard SB6141. I have them connected by a Vandesail Cat7 high speed cable and then another one from the router to the Xbox.
I initially was using Chrome but also downloaded Edge and tried safari with the same error popping up in all 3. Have tried clearing the cache with no change in the outcome.

Might try this if you have the FW file v.64 on your PC already, disconnect the router from the modem.
Use the one wired PC connected to the router and re-load the FW file. After the router is back to ready, factory reset the router using the ERASE button: https://kb.netgear.com/24233/How-do-I-erase-the-configuration-settings-on-my-Nighthawk-router
Let the router reset.
Clear browser cache here.
Walk thru the setup wizard here. Can skip anything mentioned no ISP detected.
Get to the Home screen.
Set up the wifi only, leave all other features alone for now.I would go in and change the default IP address pool range to .100 to .200. Apply and let the router reboot. Under LAN Setup.
When the router reboots, connect the ISP modem to the router.
When the router is back to ready, see if Geo Filter works in MS EDGE.
