XR1000 upload qos not working/broken
To be very honest, the XR1000 has been a disaster from the start. with little to no updates, and updates not even fixing the main issues. idk if this issue will be fixed because i see so many people ...

modem is a Calix 844G-1. its a form of DSL or ADSL 2. idk which DSL. i know its a FTTP connection but its low speed, not true fiber if i understand correctly. thats why my speeds are closer to DSL speeds (30mbps down, 5mbps up). ill attach photo for model number as im not to sure what is Mfr.

Okay so the ISP modem is handling PPPoE, that's fine, copy the WAN IP from the System Information page on the XR and put that in the DMZ on the modem - that will ensure it's passing all traffic straight through to the router, just in case it is interfering somehow. I can't see the other images until they're been approved unfortunately. Most people who have this issue are using PPPoE and it works fine without so not a normal issue.
Do you have any devices in the DMZ on the XR? Are you using Port Forwarding or have any Traffic Controller rules set up?

ive already put the XR1000 wan ip in my modems DMZ, still the same. port forwarding has no affect on QOS whether i use it or not. i turned off DumaOs classified games and work at home and put my own PC as games console. i aslo tried just with classified games. ive tried every different config and still the same outcome.

here is the bufferbloat i get with XR1000 - https://imgur.com/a/gyHbLgC
you see it doesnt cap my upload and does a poor job on both download and upload bufferbloat. when i use my other router my download and upload ms never passes +5ms but that router has bad wireless and some bugs. The XR1000 is getting 60+ms on download and 200-260ms+ on upload. not doing what QOS should be doing
heres a link to the photos of my QOS page instead of waiting for approval. - https://imgur.com/a/4jldk3G
- Netduma-FraserJul 13, 2023NetDuma PartnerThanks for that:
Are you using Armor? If so disable that and re-test
Disable Traffic Prioritization completely and reset Bandwidth Allocation then test
If you use Speedtest.net does the upload limit properly?- mocha__Jul 15, 2023Aspirant
tried all of what you said and still the same. and no, speedtest.net doesnt cap either.
