XR1000 Wi-Fi is on but 2.4 and 5.0 lights not on

Just purchased a xr1000 nighthawk pro gamer router. I am having some connectivity issues and wanted to see if anyone has experienced this. I have turned Wi-Fi on using the front button both the Wi-Fi on/off and WPS button is lit up but the 2.4 and 5.0 Wi-Fi indicators are not lit up. The router cannot be found when trying to set it up using the app. Any thoughts or suggestions is appreciated. (I’ve done the power on and power off, factory reset, and cycling the modem)
