XR1000 will not turn on?

Question

My XR1000 will not turn on. I thought it was the surge protector but when I plug it in direct it won’t turn on. I’ve tried on and off button, hard reset with the paperclip nothing seems to be working. We’ve had some thunder storms in the area that knocks out the power and the internet sometimes. But I did not think this would cook my router. Is it done and time for a new one or is there anything I can do to try to make it work?&nbsp;

Unfortunately it could be the router hardware.

You could do a risk-buy of an replacement power adapter, as it is possible that is what actually failed.

Exactly as above, if a different power point and a different adapter don't work then it is unfortunately broken.&nbsp;
