Hi there.
We are having the same issues. We are with Vodafone and have a fibre connection. Bought the XR300 today as Vodafone's stock modem is so slow and useless. We are connecting the router directly to the fibre box - ethernet cable from the GEN1 port on fibre box directly into the yellow WAN port on the router. All the LED lights are white, except the internet access one which is orange. Vodafone states our fibre connection is working perfectly.
We simply cant seem to set it up,and neither of us are tech wizards.
Did you manage to sort yours out?

- Netduma-FraserMay 01, 2020NetDuma PartnerSorry to hear you're having this issue as well, have you followed all the suggestions thus far to see if that resolves it?
- tomjacobMay 01, 2020AspirantNo. I am still having the same issue. No internet.
I am sure that all thr configs are in place as suggested by my ISP.- JLBakerMay 01, 2020AspirantI've just fixed mine! Called vodafone and was told the VLAN must be enabled, and that the VLAN ID is 10. Once I enabled that the router rebooted and had the white LED internet light. I also called up netgear and spoke with someone (honestly they weren't much help). They told me to change the router MAC address to be the same as the computers MAC address. I was then put on hold, and I played around with the VLAN setting which fixed the problem. Who is your internet provider?
