I play on my xbox and only on my Xbox. And I get the same error “disconnected from the wired network” then it saids “connected to the wired network “ while playing MWF. I reset, soft reset and updated my router. I’ve even changed my xbox, my isp from Xfinty to Frontier FiberOptic. And I still get the same error. Please help.

Do you own your own place or rent?
Ive had a similar issue in an older place I rented. I went through ISP. router/s hours making changes to internal settings and even spoke with a few technicians who checked the connections from footpath and in house.
After 6 months and multiple complaints they eventually replaced the connection (in the house) and the instant disconnections and re-connections immediatly stopped - it was an older connection
This was random behaviour for the device and we still cannot explain how and why this occured. It was chalked down to the "older" connection points
- DearGeoDec 02, 2021TutorWhen I bought my it was wired for DSL, I changed it to xfinity all new wires, now frontier new optical cable. So it’s not the wiring. I narrow it down to the router. I took my ex ox to my boys house and my router. I plugged in my Xbox onto his optimum ISP, we played for hour not a hiccup. I removed my Xbox and plugged in my router with his Xbox sure enough dropped signal. Now I know it’s not the Xbox nor my frontier/xfinity. It’s this darn router.

If you have changed that "whatever" then you should reset the XR300 and set it up from scratch. It needs to forget any setting inherited from your DSL connection.
As this is a router, there is probably a modem sitting in front of it. You need to get the devices to forget any inherited settings. Among other things, that means rebooting the network.
Power cuts usually take out both the modem and the router on a network. When the power comes back on, they may start up in the wrong order, with the router starting before the modem is ready. That means that they get confused about which is in charge.
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.

If you do decide to ask a question, you should provide more details and your own version of the information that the forum suggests that you provide. For example, as this is a router, it helps to know what modem you are using and the various things that you have tried to fix the problem.- DearGeoDec 02, 2021TutorI’ve been down that route to many times with this router and actually when I plugged in my router at my boys house I reset the router and restarted modem. It’s not anything else but this router. I plugged in my Orbit and it works fine. But that not the machine I want working. I want this machine to work like it’s supposed too. Even today after I reset it and placed it back in my house. It disconnected twice now.
