XR300 Feature Query

I saw on the XR300 page https://www.netgear.com/gaming/xr300/, in the 4th line of the features:

  • Works with Xbox®, PlayStation®, Nintendo® Switch, PC, mobile devices, and more.
Is this a special function of XR300? Does it imply your other netgear routers cannot work properly with Xbox®, PlayStation®, Nintendo® Switch, PC, mobile devices? 
 
I am considering to order a R7000 / R7000P for my PS4 and Switch, but the above uncertainty pauses me.

    Other routers will work with those devices, I think it's just saying that as a gaming router it supports all your gaming devices. It also has specific gaming features for the devices that other routers don't have.
