Xr300 geofilter not working correctly
Hi, I’ve been trying to use the geo filter and set it in the ocean to check that it’s working and although I’ve set it to strict it’s still allowing connections out side of the area. I don’t have any allowed or disallowed connections. I play cod Cold War and I can’t get a ping under 60/70ms. I have hard reset once no change. Any help would be great thanks.

- I found a solution, it’s in the garbage. What a waste of electric!

- It sounds like you have Ping Assist enabled so if you set that to 0 it will only adhere to your radius settings
- Hi thanks for the quick response, my ping assist is set to zero, it must be something else? I tried removing the Xbox from geo filer and re adding it, I have hard reset, ping assist at zero, flushed cloud, allow deny list is empty, moving home location. I don’t know what else to try. Could the software be broken?
I’m using :
netgear xr300 (hardwired)
Sky router (with XR300 in DMZ)
Xbox series x (wireless)- Can you provide a screenshot of the entire Geo-Filter page showing you getting a game outside your radius please? Then I can best determine what is happening - add it as an attachment otherwise I won't be able to see it
