XR300 Not connecting internet through phones
I just installed my XR300 and got it up and running and working with my laptop, But When I try to connect any smart phones thorugh it All I get is connected without internet. Need Help figuring out...
- Must be the XR is better at handling the devices in router mode, glad it's working!
If the XR is in AP mode then the ATT router is handing out the IP addresses to those devices not the XR. Do they show as connected to the ATT?
Yes. I can connect them to the att router with no problem and it is solid without interruption.
- I mean because the XR is in AP mode the XR does not have any impact on the devices other than passing the connection on from the ATT. Therefore devices when connected to the AP should appear as though they are connected to the ATT when you access that interface, is that the case?
- I agree but it won't pass the service through. It works off and on with my laptop now but I have to reset the router. The service light will stay lit white but my devices will say there is no internet connection until I reset the xr router while the att router will work fine.
- If you have the XR so it isn't in AP mode do you still get this issue?
I just switched it off of ap mode yesterday and it seems to work fine now. Thank you.
I have no idea why It would do that?
