XR450 firmware updates

I got this on sale at Costco hoping it would auto update but doesn't look like it.  Does any of the Netgear keep the updates automatically for security purposes (VPN Filter malware)?

    In Settings > Administration > Firmware Update it should have auto upgrade enabled, if not enable that. How do you know that it's not been auto upgrading since you received it? It should have received the same amount of firmware updates as the XR500.

      Thank you for your reply.  I decided to return it and get a different model.
