XR500 — Nighthawk Pro Gaming Router does it support fiber optic

i was wondering if this router support fiber optic or not before it buy it.   Only reason is my current router keeps going out randomly not the motem just the router

    Try installing firwmare version 1.0.9.42 to the R7000. Then do a factory reset and a new install (don't use a backup configuration)

yeah all they gave us was they put in the cord and pluged it into the motem then into the router and left
