XR500- not the pro gaming router it advertises

So I bought this “pro gaming router” at jb hi fi for $380. I was very excited hoping that when I set it up it would be much faster than my iinet router I got with my broadband nbn. I set it up and did some speed checks expecting very fast speed, but, that’s not what happened. Same as my old one. Did everything I knew on the dashboard and we used suncorp benefits to get some money off so if we return it we only get a voucher for jb hi fi with no money back. SCAMMERS.

    Only your Internet Provider can increase your maximum bandwidth speeds. The XR500 will help you optimise to get the best connection possible with those speeds i.e. great Wireless speeds, lowest possible ping etc.
