There was an option in QOS that gave you percentages after running 10 tests. I can't remember what it was called, so I just called "beta QOS" lol
If I leave auto-enabled, or never on, my download speeds have always been messed up. You guys have tried helping me fix it, but nothing has worked since I got this 5 years ago. I just turn it off after playing COD, and everything works as it should. I only turn it on for COD because of the Chicago server. All my other games work fine using the closest server to me.
If I go back to the beta version, won't it just auto-update me again?

Oh I see, the Auto QoS option! Fair enough!
It would but on the firmware update page, once you've gone back to the beta there is an option to disable auto updates

Auto-Setup is what the QOS thing is called 🙂
I went back to the beta, but the game is still basically unplayable.
This is what I have tried today:I have tried the polygon around specific servers (closing COD then reopening it after each attempt)
I have tried a few servers together (put the polygon around multiple states)
I've tried always, auto-enable, never in QOS
I've tried Geo-filter on, and QOS off
I've tried QOS on (all three option) and Geo-filter off (it got worse)
I've tried QOS off and Geo-filter off (it got worse)
I've tried switching my PC to PlayStation in Device Manager (you guys told me to try that in the past)
I've tried a bunch of different percentages in QOS (restarting after each one)
I've tried auto-setup in QOS several times
I went back to the beta firmware instead of using the newest firmware
I even tried servers in Cali (I live by Chicago) because they have the highest ping (a little worse delay)
It seems like nothing is working, and my game is lagging badly. I non-stop get shot by one or two bullets but it takes me damn near a whole clip to kill somebody. It seems like there is about a 1 - 2 second delay. I have been killed by lethals that I never saw. I watched the kill cam and it looks like I'm playing like a noob just walking right into lethals. I know the kill cams are generated by what the server thinks happened but it has happened too many times today.
Any other suggestions?- Netduma-FraserApr 20, 2025NetDuma PartnerDid going back to the beta fix the original issue you started the topic for?
I doubt it is anything on your side, I am quite confident this will be due to the Easter holidays - more people playing the game (especially because of the recent update) so there is more load on the game servers. More people online/at home also means more ISP congestion and so with those two combined this could account for increased ping and decreased game performance.- Mike40Apr 20, 2025Luminary
Yes. Going back to the beta firmware fixed the original issue.
I apologize for the tangent I went on. I was trying to play to get the most out of the double XP weekend, but that failed miserably lol
I didn't see a response to one question, though. If I missed it, I apologize. Since I'm using the beta firmware, will it automatically update me to the new firmware again? If so, should I just keep going back to the beta version?

are you guys gonna add BO6 to the Ping Heatmap on the official firmware version?
- Netduma-FraserMay 15, 2025NetDuma Partner
It should already be there but I'll check with the team to get it added if not

There isn't, only Warzone 2.0, CoD Modern Warfare 1 and 2
