XR500 BO6 is not in Ping Heatmap

https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-Pro-Gaming-Routers/XR500-Black-Ops-6-no-ping-on-PC/m-p/2407929

The link above is from the previous discussion with the sameish issue.  It was resolved, so it would not let me add a comment.

BO6 doesn't show up in Ping Heatmap, and the beta QOS is gone too.  Not that beta QOS worked the greatest, but it was a little better than randomly picking percentages.  I'm unsure what happened.  It was working fine using the beta version.  Now I'm using version XR500 V2.3.3.136, but I don't remember ever updating it to that.  It worked fine a week ago, but I do not remember what version it was on.  I only sign into my router when I play COD so that I can reset the router since without restarting the games are crap.  That has been an ongoing issue since I bought it, but no help has been provided that works.  I just deal with it since it only takes about 3 minutes to restart it.  After I'm done with COD, I just turn off QOS so my speeds go back to "normal".

Should I go back to the beta version from the discussion below?  I thought I would ask before wasting my time.

I've checked with the team and every platform is on the same cloud version currently so what you have it outdated - if you resync on Heatmap does it then show an updated list?

no it doesn't show an updated list. As you can see in the picture.

  • Not sure what you mean by beta QoS, the QoS on the beta is no different to the public firmware QoS. The version you're on is a security update, the router would have auto updated you - this is probably why the cloud has become updated as well as you're not on the beta version so upgrade back and see if that works. Btw you don't have to turn off QoS when you're done, just set it to Auto Enable and when you stop playing Congestion Control will stop applying.

There was an option in QOS that gave you percentages after running 10 tests.  I can't remember what it was called, so I just called "beta QOS" lol

If I leave auto-enabled, or never on, my download speeds have always been messed up.  You guys have tried helping me fix it, but nothing has worked since I got this 5 years ago.  I just turn it off after playing COD, and everything works as it should.  I only turn it on for COD because of the Chicago server.  All my other games work fine using the closest server to me.

If I go back to the beta version, won't it just auto-update me again?

Oh I see, the Auto QoS option! Fair enough!

It would but on the firmware update page, once you've gone back to the beta there is an option to disable auto updates
