Xr500 constantly disconnects SOLVED and kicked off ethernet

If any one is having problems with with the xr500 constantly dropping connection from there modem id just about had enough of this router was disconnecting 2 and 3 times a day problem solved ...only happened when i tried to have a static ip address so set it to dynamic and reserve your console ip and turn of use router as DCHP server and no more disconnects .hope this helps because i was pulling my hair out

    I wonder which of those changes specifically resolved the issue. Thanks for posting and we'll keep those in mind. If any new device needs to connect to the router you will have to give it static settings on the device itself before it will be able to connect.
