XR500 Custom VPN?
How can I use my TorGuard VPN configuration on this router? I only see an option for HideMyAss.
You were not misled, dates slip and developing software/firmware is complicated. Also other issues may become more important to fix first for stability over new functionality which is the same with all products of this kind. Netduma have to squash bugs that may appear with different configurations and setups and work along side Netgears firmwares writers too.
Netgear I imagine have the final say in release dates and since there was an update 3 weeks, ago I would wait a while! Also saying you will leave a horrible review unless you get what you want is not the best way to approach the development team and certainly wont get you what you want any faster. The hybrid VPN will be ready when you see it in the release notes and in your routers settings.
The advertising you've seen has been for a VPN Client which it does have. I understand your frustration and I've contacted Netgear highly suggesting to them that we have a beta version available.
