XR500 dead due to reboot

Netduma-Fraser plemans after holding reset for 30 sec and releasing it the solid red light goes off completely, I have to push on off button to get solid red light glowing again ,
Sounds like it could be completely faulty, if TFTP method above doesn't work then I'd recommend contacting Netgear directly: http://support.netgear.com/
Netduma-Fraser had a talk to customer service, they have done trouble shooting steps and they say your not in warranty and this device is dead and cannot be repaired.... i am ready to pay out of warranty charges but they are denying completely, device cannot be repaired
did you try the tftp or nmrpflash?
- Tried doing tftp it not working, its on block%0 only
- Sorry to hear that and sorry we're not able to give you any suggestions that will work. You could try unplugging the router from power for 24 hours, we've seen that can help in the past bring dead routers back to life
