If you provide a static IP/IP reservations for some of the affected devices in LAN Settings do you still see the issue on those devices?
Seeing how every DHCP lease event causes the router to crash and reboot, I dont think setting static IPs is going to fix that. For some reason, everytime the Lease renews, I suddenly get a ton of DOS attacks and a router shutdown and reboot
- Wait so the entire router reboots itself when this happens? If that's the case try plugging the power directly into a wall outlet, if it continues try another power adapter. If it's still a problem then I would recommend getting the router replaced.
Short of wiring the power supply to the wall, that also has been done. I assue you that if i buy another router, it will never be a Netgear router. This is unacceptable.
I will say that finally, after 17 factory resets, I dont seem to have any issues. But I also dont want to use the QOS or any other feature because it will crash again.
