XR500 Disconnecting every day

Seeing how every DHCP lease event causes the router to crash and reboot, I dont think setting static IPs is going to fix that. For some reason, everytime the Lease renews, I suddenly get a ton of DOS attacks and a router shutdown and reboot
Wait so the entire router reboots itself when this happens? If that's the case try plugging the power directly into a wall outlet, if it continues try another power adapter. If it's still a problem then I would recommend getting the router replaced.
Short of wiring the power supply to the wall, that also has been done. I assue you that if i buy another router, it will never be a Netgear router. This is unacceptable.
I will say that finally, after 17 factory resets, I dont seem to have any issues. But I also dont want to use the QOS or any other feature because it will crash again.
- It's highly unlikely to be any of the DumaOS features causing this so it may happen regardless. If it occurs again I would suggest either waiting for the 3.0 update or perhaps trying a previous firmware (you'll lack the latest security updates) or exchanging the router.
