XR500 dropping wifi connection every 3-5 minutes
My XR500 dropping wifi connection every 3-5 minutes causing my laptop to reconnect all the time. What's interesting is that it happens for 1 device only - all other devices in home (2 phones + 2 ...
One small addition - it happens on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. And changing wifi channels doesn't help.
Conection type - PPPoE, via ISP's optic fiber receiver.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last update?
- Give the laptop that you're experiencing the issue on a static/reserved IP in LAN Settings - use the same IP from the Device Manager that it is getting for ease. Does it still continue after this?
