XR500 drops internet
I am having an issue where the internet stops working..... I have 2 Xbox ones being used and they randomly disconnect and now the wifi doesn't work either. The wifi is connected but no internet. On...

I got the firmware updated, but it seems that the WiFi is still having issues. Sucks I can’t return this router as it’s been a few months since I had it. Is there a way Netgear would take it back and refund me as this has become a real inconvenience and seems these routers are lemons, released to soon to the public without proper testing.
Disconnecting issues or other issues? Only a small percentage of users seem to experience this issue and they all have the same devices that cause it, hence why we're working with those teams to get it resolved either on their end or our own.
- Nobody has asked me the devices that I have connected, possibly causing disconnections.
- Sent you a PM Xider. I assume you have an Xbox or PS4 Bull as it's a gaming router and thats what causes it.
- Gaming pc, ps4 and Xbox one. But I also had these on the ac1900. Never had the problem, but I’ve not “gamed” on the x1 or ps4 with this router either.
- If they're in instant on mode then that may cause the issue
