XR500 drops internet
I am having an issue where the internet stops working..... I have 2 Xbox ones being used and they randomly disconnect and now the wifi doesn't work either. The wifi is connected but no internet. On...

Just factory reset and installed the firmware update and still having the same issue as before. internet works, then disconnects from the internet. internal network and wifi works fine, but anything coming in from the wan stops working. i have no xbox or ps4 plugged in while i am doing these tests.
It's very annoying, should i return this and exchange it with a new unit?

- Hi Marc, do you have anything that does automatic updates? If so turn them off and see if that resolves it. Have you also confirmed you don't see this when bypassing the router?
I don't have anything else connected to it that does auto updates.
And yes I don't see this issue with other routers. I am forced to use my r7000 again and the internet has been solid everytime i use it. When i plug back in the rx500 the internet is up, then down, then up, then down. While it's down i plug in the r7000 again and the internet is up and stays up.

- Okay thats strange, you don't seem to have the causes that others did. Is there anything you notice when it happens every time? Such as heavy usage or anything like that?
