XR500 Duma OS Very Slow/Lagging

So I have been going though so many different forums/posts looking for something that might help me understand why my Duma OS has been so slow and lagging on my PC for about the last month or so. I haven’t found anything that has been directly related to the specific issue I’m going through so I’m at the point that I figured I would just reach out within this community and ask for help with this.
I have not installed 3.0 firmware yet so I’m still running 2.0 firmware (2.3.2.114) I’m hoping it’s as simple as a new firmware update or even a reinstall of the 2.0 firmware.
Also, in addition to my PC I have a Windows Laptop and a Apple MacBook that I’ve noticed the same slow behavior on. Forgive me for not being super specific in my question. I’m still pretty new to all if this and I learning as I go. This is my first experience with a gaming router. I know that when I first installed this back in June it was not this slow and has got worse over time.
Is there any known issues related of this firmware being really slow lately?
Is there any firmware updates I’m missing that I might be needing to do, or is it time for me
to download & install the 3.0 firmware?
I’m sure there’s more info and specs that you need from my end also but here’s my network info.
Thanks, any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
Comcast/Xfinity ISP - 900mbps Down 20mbps Up
Modem - Netgear CM1000
Router - Netgear XR500
PC is hardwired and both laptop and MacBook are wireless but I’ve also tested hardwired and got the same results.

  • So we haven't had many if any specific reports of a slow interface on the XR500 - one of the reasons this could be is if you're trying to access the interface using HTTPS, if you are then using HTTP will be much faster.

Clear your browser cache/cookies then load each page on the router once (settings page counts, no need to load each individual page there). Then it should be faster from then on.

Hey thanks for getting back to me. Sorry for the late response on my side. Been a crazy week. So I’ve always made it a priority to clear my cache, delete cookies, and all that. I do that on a regular if not daily basis. This seems to be the only program that is acting like this with such laggy and slow response. Plus it’s doing this on all there of my devices.
I am interested in the newer Duma 3.0 and have been reading about it. Do you think it’s a good idea for me to download install and give that firmware shot?

Also, I just noticed as I was reading other posts, is there a newer firmware than what I have? I’m seeing a (2.3.2.120) Has that been rolled out or is it still in development?
      Thanks

If you're clearing it so often that could be the reason for particular devices, you would be loading the page fully every time instead of loading some quickly from the cache/cookies. If you're using the Safari browser for example then after their newest update it will force you onto HTTPS which will slow down the interface dramatically so either ensuring you access using HTTP or use another browser should work. Absolutely, the .120 beta build is quite stable in my opinion and could help.
