XR500 Ethernet won't detect connection
My XR500 won't detect any internet from my ISP's modem. Initially, I thought it was a modem issue, so I swapped it with Spectrum. Once I set up the new modem and connected to the XR500, the router wo...

The current FW on XR500 is V2.3.2.134 (which I believe is the latest). I have completed a full network reboot since the FW update/reinstall along with trying numerous CAT5/6 cables. I am now using a Spectrum Modem Hitron EN2251 after trading in a Arris modem from Spectrum.

So try a reboot of the XR while it's connected to the ISP modem and it's ON. Or power OFF the XR router for 10 seconds then back ON.
I've noticed that on my XR450, if I reboot the modem, the XR won't connect, the XR needs one more reboot or power cycle while the ISP modem is ON for it to connect...
Try a factory reset on the XR router and walk thru the setup wizard with a wired PC and web browser...

Thank you for the suggestions. I tried both methods and still nowhere. If It helps, the light on the XR500 for the internet is not lighting up at all as if there's nothing connected to the internet port. The same goes for the modem. It doesn't detect the router connected to the modem when connected. It is rather strange because prior to yesterday, I had no problems with the XR500. Every time I gave it a reboot, it would connect immediately without a hitch.

So disconnect the XR from the modem and connect your wired PC to the WAN port of the XR router, just wondering if the LED will light up at all if anything connects to it. Check the ethernet adapter connection on the PC to see if it reports a connection with the WAN port or Disconnected? I presume if it's Disconnected reporting, that the WAN port on the XR may have gone bad.

Correct. If I connect the modem directly to my PC, it receives internet just as normal. And when I connect it to the router, DumaOS states that its not connected. I presume its a port issue too. Do you know if there's replacement ports I may be able to solder into place?
