Hi and thanks for the reply.
The firmware is 2.3.2.40
I own the cable modem and it is a zoom cable modem 3.0
I have 2 ps4's and both are hardwired. One goes through a switch and the other is connected directly to the router. Both have the same behavior.
I did set a static IP on one of the ps4's but it did not make a difference.

Does the modem have a built in router?
Remove the static IP address from the PS.
Set RESERVED IP addresses for the PS consoles ON the router.
What is the mfr and model of the switch your using?
Do the game consoles connect to the internet and the gaming services ok?

No it's just a modem.
The switch is a Nighthawk 8000.
I'll try the reservation and let you know.
The gaming services work fine but I don't get any of the anti-bufferbloat, QoS, or geo filter settings.

Also try with out the NG switch in the mix as well to see if there is any differences.
