Well, i'm back to the starting point. Loss of gateway and DNS from my ISP.
I was wondering if i can set a static route to their servers. But if my Wan IP changes, i guess my gateway will change too... so it can't be a solution.
I will look at the gateway and DNS addresses when my WAN IP will be renewed. It can take a few weeks... If they are still the same, i'll try to set a static route.
Keep us posted! It would likely be easier to call the ISP and get them to extend the lease time though
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
It is a Huawei EchoLife HG8010a
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the ONT. Possible there could be some odd behavior between the ISP and ONT as well.
Be sure to set the XR router for .100 to .200 IP address pool range.Be sure to use CAT6 lan cable between the ONT and XR router.
