Xr500 internet connection problems

Can't connect to the Internet on my xr500 pro gaming router. I also just got a new modem because ours blew and we set it up with the ISP but now my xr500 won't connect to the Internet. Please help. th...

If I'm correct the brand is spectrum and the model number is ET2251.

Thats a Hitron brand. 

 

Does the Internet LED on the XR router AMBER? 

Power a power cycle or reboot of the XR router, the internet LED should change from AMBER to WHITE...

    The light is amber I've tried power cycling it a couple times and that didn't work. it would just keep blinking white but it's not doing that anymore.

    So I plugged the Internet back in and the power light is now blinking white but won't stay a steady white.

      Any internet with the XR router now? WHITE led blinking should be ok. Just getting internet services.

        No I still have no internet, but I think it's needs a firmware update but I'm not sure how to get the file on the computer to use tftp to update the firmware but I have no internet
