my router's firmware version is v2.3.2.40

The hotfix firmware I linked you to is based on the same version, BUT it has a small fix which stops dropouts. Apart from that fix, it is the same as the version you've got.

If there are fewer people connected, there will be no problem.That's weird. Do you get disconnected frequently when doing bandwidth intensive tasks like streaming 4K video or downloading game patches?
