xr500 LAN ports sometime will stop working
hi i need some help sometime my netgear nighthawk xr500 LAN ports stops working.wifi work fine not sure how to fix it. can anybody help me
- I've sent you a PM with firmware that may resolve the issue.
The best step here is to contact NETGEAR's official support. By registering a case with them, they will be able to send you a firmware (if there is one) to fix and also look into a replacement if necessary. In other words - get in direct contact with them as this is not something the NETGEAR community will be able to help with.
Any news for this ? Did the reports through the console help to solve something ?
- Well my problem does seem to be fixed at the moment. We have 3 xboxes in the house. I had to change the power settings on each one to ENERGY SAVER instead of INSTANT ON. Honestly that's a bummer considering the XR500 is considered a gaming router. But at least I'm not resetting my router multiple times a day now.
- Hi MrEric, unfortunately I haven't heard any more news regarding the issue. Glad to hear that Ben, I realise it's frustrating and hopefully we'll have a working solution soon but glad you have a workaround.
