xr500 LAN ports sometime will stop working
hi i need some help sometime my netgear nighthawk xr500 LAN ports stops working.wifi work fine not sure how to fix it. can anybody help me

No its been on I won’t disable I just reset the router. I don’t like that my games don’t get updated while the console is off. I like to spend my time I can play Xbox playing the games without waiting on updates. Too bad this 300.00 router can’t work good enough so I don’t have to restart every other day. For the last 3 months. Since I’ve bought it. Netgear just sent me another new one last Friday. and they didn’t want me to reset my old one and I had to give him my router login so they can send the router to the engineers. But the one I got just last week is doing the same thing. Today was its first time. Dropping all the lan ports until I reset it. I even leave the Xbox one on. When it doesn’t have connection. And restart the router and after the router bolts up. Bam. I have internet again. And everything goes back to normal.
I am having the same issues with the LAN ports failing after some time. A restart of the router always fixes for a about a day. I am currently have the latest firmware.
- Have you tried previous suggestions and tried the beta firmware?
i have now received an RMA from Netgar and right out of the Box the same problem. This time i didn't even get a day and now a reboot doesn't even help. This is beginning to be a joke.. Wireless however works flawlessly, which is a saving grace, because DUMA works like it is supposed too with COD. They have to fix this OS soon.

Yes i have tried the workaround, and i don't use instant on with my Xbox beceuase of kids, it is set to powersave mode where i have to turn it on. I am at the point now on the 2nd router where i cannot get the wired ports to work at all... my case has been escalated to level 3 support.
