XR500 not detecting internet
Hoping for some help I have connected my XR500 to my fibre modem and the internet light on the modem is a solid orange (amber for those who call it that). I have tried everything I could find on ...
what fibre modem is it?
Some have integrated router functions that either need to be disabled or the router placed in AP mode to work properly.
The modem is a Chorus Model Type 300. Interesting thought, you think it might work in AP mode rather than router mode?
from what I could find on the chorus 300 it seems to have an integrated router.
So this means AP mode might/should work?
if its running in router mode, placing the XR500 into AP mode would work. or there might be an option on the chorus to place it in passthrough/gateway only mode.
