XR500 OR XR700?
Is there a lot of difference between the xr 500 and the xr 700? Is it worth the exchange of the Xr500 for the XR700?

There is. Just depends on if you have the client side HW that supports higher connection rates (AD) on wireless to take advantage of it and really need SPF media port support.
