XR500 or XR700

I have Zito internet provider and have there stock router. i want to see about upgrading to a gaming router like the XR500 or XR700. my questen is, Zeto is a cable type set up so what do i need to go from the cable to the router or do i need a diffrent type of router that takes the cable?

    All you need to do is connect the router you purchase via ethernet to the existing router provided by your ISP. You can then put this ISP router in modem mode, bridge mode or put the bought router in its DMZ to achieve an Open NAT and optimum setup. Depending on which router you get this depends on your circumstances, whether you have a big home and thus need a router with very good range - XR700 for example.
