    It's either or. uPnP works in most configurations. Specialized configurations, needs to be disabled.

Quick update - did a bunch of troubleshooting today with some techies’ help. Things learned - I’m not behind CG NAT/double NAT. The problem appears to be with the XR500. Some zone/security/something or other is not allowing the opening of ports on my network. Please help if you can!

Is uPnP disabled if you have any PF configurations setup? 

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

    UPnP is currently enabled and attached to a different service & port from what I’m working on currently. Modem picture attached.

      uPnP needs to be disabled if you have any PF configurations setup.
