XR500 Problems
My old R7000 is having problems so I drove an hour to get the XR500 that I've heard amazing things about. I installed the antennas as labeled, restarted my modem, and plugged in. Within a few minutes...
While waiting on your response I just decided to plug everything up and setup like I do every other router and it worked this time. The first one was definitely defective, this one was ready to use in no time.
As far as QOS goes, once I get everything connected what's the best thing to set my desktop to? That's the only thing I game on.

For QoS I would suggest you use 70/70% for download/upload on Anti-Bufferbloat then use 'When High Priority Traffic detected'. For Traffic Prioritization I'd use DumaOS Classified Games to start with and then if High Priority traffic we can help you adjust it.
