- Oct 27, 2021You'll need to connect the XR to that to get internet then. Copy the WAN IP from the System Information page on the XR router and enter it into the DMZ on the C4000 and you should be good to go. The XR500 is a router and not a modem/router combo, so you'll still need to have something on the network handling the modem functionalities.
What's the exact make and model of your ISP router/modem? You could probably either put it into a bridge/modem mode or DMZ the XR500, then just make sure all devices on the network are connected to the XR500.
